The 70’s Sunlight Flip

I always say that every house I Stage is my favorite but this one really was. The owners had done a fabulous job with updating and refreshing this once outdated house. New wood floors, fresh paint, and updated lighting were just some of the many changes made. As the title states this house was a 1970’s style with a huge sunlight that provided perfect light to the main living areas.

Décor Style: Since this house had a very fun fresh vibe, I wanted to keep the décor similar. I chose to go with a modern rustic feel with the furnishings and decor . In addition to using neutral colors to keep the space visually pleasing I did add in some blues for a pop.

Favorite Items: I got so lucky with my horse artwork for the living room, it was a steal from Kirklands and I felt that it really brought the room together. I also am obsessed  with the coffee table and console table from Target, they had a great rustic feel and blended really well with the more modern couch and chairs used in the living room. Finally the metal chairs and barstools with wood seats were the perfect additions to the kitchen and breakfast nook.
