Christmas Cards are for Christmas

I have always been told I have an old soul, and I feel like that is a pretty accurate description of myself.

Probably one of the best ways that I demonstrate this, is that I am obsessed with actually sending and receiving cards and invitations. I still send out actual Birthday invitations for both my boys and Christmas cards every year. Some of my favorite holiday memories include racing to the mailbox (bare foot because I mean shoes were too much of a bother even in December) and being so excited when we got a Christmas card in the mail! My mom would always take the time to read the messages written out loud then she would tie them to the garland that hung around our doorway. So to say I take pride in selecting and sending out my yearly Christmas card is an understatement.

I was pretty pumped when I was presented with the opportunity to team up with Basic Invite to create my yearly photo Christmas card!

I am currently going on 10 years of sending out my own families Christmas cards, and this year was by far the easiest process even for someone like myself who is referred to by many as “technology challenged”.

For this years photo Christmas card, it was not an easy choice due to Basic Invites 250 Christmas and Holiday cards, but I went with the Vintage Artwork Photo card. I was really excited to see that the card’s colors went perfect with our chosen picture outfits! But what if your outfit, does not match your card of choice? All of Basic Invites cards have unlimited color options, so you can make sure its exactly how you want it, this is in addition to beautiful foil card options as well. Another option to give your card a standout look is they offer 40 different colors of envelopes to complete your now perfect Holiday card.

What if you are like me and you always doubt your decision on everything?? Basic Invite also does custom samples! So before ordering 100 cards you are able to see in person exactly how they will look and feel.

But the best thing about ordering from Basic Invite is their address capturing service. With this service you are able to share a link on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or any other form of social media to request your friends and families addresses. The addresses are then stored in your account and can be selected during the design process. Basic Invite offers recipient address printing at no cost on all Christmas card orders. So if your address book is outdated as mine, this is a lifesaver!

My husband decided he needed to have deviated septum surgery this December so I was bummed when we decided that it would be best to skip throwing the annual Holiday party, but I did check out all of Basic Invites Christmas party invitations and they are so good! Talk about salt in the wound, I cannot wait until next year to pick out the perfect Holiday cocktail party invites!

Right now Basic Invite is offering 30% off with coupon code : holi30
